About Us

Snow Bound Inc. was started by Iris Henderson and Peter de Vries  who share a passion for the Georgian Bay, Blue Mountain area of Ontario.

Snow Bound Inc, and Summer Bound evolved from an idea to “enhance the Blue Mountain experience". The initial focus was providing transportation and skiing packages for enthusiasts during the week. This expanded to developing complete day activities, including transportation and accommodations. In the winter these encompass skiing, snow boarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and other activities like team building.

With the increase in tourist traffic in the summer a natural extension was to provide boat tours, charters, charter fishing and other outdoor activities on the water and on land.

The company actively supports local charities through donations of Sunset Cruises to be used in silent auction type fundraisers.
